Rabbi Avrohom Weinrib

Rabbi Weinrib grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He studied for seven years at the Mirrer Yeshiva in Yerushalayim and received semicha from Harav Nissim Karelitz Ztz”l and Harav Nosson Tzvi Finkel Ztz”l. He joined the Chicago Community Kollel in 2002, and in 2005, he became the Rav of the Agudas Yisroel of West Rogers Park.

Rabbi Weinrib moved with his wife Ayala and their family to Cincinnati in 2012 to become the Rav and Rebbetzin of CZE. Rabbi Weinrib also serves as the Rabbinic Administrator of Cincinnati Kosher.

Rabbi and Rebbetzin Weinrib are beloved by the kehilla for their genuine warmth and their care and concern for people of all ages and types. The Rav leads the shul with the directive of One Family Growing Together and ensures that each individual has what they need for their growth and connection to Hakadosh Baruch Hu.

Rabbi Yisroel Kaufman

Rabbi Kaufman grew up in Lakewood, NJ. He attended the Mesivta of Long Beach, Yeshiva Bais Medrash L’Talmud of Twin Rivers, and Yeshivas Kodshim in Eretz Yisroel. Rabbi Kaufman then studied at Beis Medrash Govoha for five years where he received his semicha. In 2013, he joined the Cincinnati Community Kollel where he was a Kollel scholar for three and a half years.

Rabbi Kaufman became the Director of Bikur Cholim in 2014, and in 2017, he joined CZE as Assistant Rav.

Rabbi Kaufman, with his ever attentive listening ear and warm smile, has become a pillar of CZE. His many talents and skills have enabled him to help and assist the Kehila through the various Mosdos in Cincinnati which he runs and is involved in.
