Welcome

Cincinnati’s Congregation Zichron Eliezer (CZE) is a growing Orthodox shul, with a dynamic and warm Rav, fun and meaningful family programs, and a true sense of “One Family Growing Together” in Avodas Hashem.

The forerunner to CZE was Knesseth Israel, founded in 1912 and led by its illustrious Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Silver zt’l, for decades. The shul is proud to uphold Rabbi Silver’s legacy of chessed that he instilled in the community. CZE serves as a community chessed center, with food, financial assistance, hachnasas orchim, housing, and mental health programs, all operating under the shul’s ever expanding mission of caring.

With the guidance of our Rav, Rabbi Avrohom Weinrib; our Assistant Rabbi, Rabbi Yisroel Kaufman; our board, and with the help of our Program Director, Rabbi Yair Kugel; our active Nishei headed by Mrs. Devora Krupnik, our community has become both vibrant and strong, having grown exponentially both in size and stature.

Our davening and learning programs are inspirational, meaningful and memorable. We boast strong daily minyanim, a kollel-like learning atmosphere, with chaburos of Talmudo B’yachad, Kollel Boker, Daf Yomi, Mishnah Berurah, Kinyan Mesechta, Yorucha and Semichas Chaver. The shul also hosts learning programs for boys including a middle school boys night seder, a pre-shabbos learning, shabbos afternoon learning, father & son Kol Hanoirem, Rosh Chodesh Seudos, to name just a few.
